Museum of Natural History 9/23

This stuff is not my bag but I have to see everything right... So here are the highlights to me from the museum. Top of the Washington Monument is made of Aluminum here is the replica of what sits 555 feet above Washington DC. Hope Diamond, this thing is like 42 carats and just big. Poop both regular and fossilized. Good times.

Redskins

So there we are at the Redskins season opener with our seats in the sun on a 90 degree day. Now we have redskins visors and a sweat towel that was heavily used during the game as souvenirs of our trip to FedEx Field. It was my first NFL game and I have to say a lot like College except for the whole 90,000 fan thing, that was a crazy amount of people all in one place. End of the day, Redskins won, Mike and I got suntanned, we were assed out from the heat and sun and were very sad to find the Mexican restaurant, by our house and the metro stop, closed so we could get margaritas on the way home. Next time..

Mongolian BBQ???

This weekend we went to a movie near Chinatown and wanted to go to a Mongolian BBQ place we had read about. We left the house (smartly) without looking for the name or location and our walk through Chinatown did not reveal it. Mike called 411 to get the number and called to see where they were located. As the conversation went on Mike told the caller he was near their location and where were they in Chinatown. Apparently we had called the Mongolian Embassy woops. If you want to call them, 202-333-7117 and I looked up the address, 2833 M St NW
Washington, DC 20007 if you want to visit.
Turns out they have a sign that if you are on the left corner of the street reads Chinese Food, but if you walk to the right corner you can see the sign. We saw the sign after making the call and then got to enjoy a laugh and some mighty fine Mongolian BBQ.

**later info on the mongolian bbq, the lady at my dentist office told me the Chinese food upstairs is some of the best in town. She also gave me a few other places that serve dim sum and we are gonna get on checking them out.
